Main Duties : We are currently looking for an instrument engineer to work for our client, who is a leading FPSO provider at their base in Aberdeen. Applicants must have experience working in operations and maintenance on FPSO's and or offshore production facilities, ideally within the North Sea and or Internationally. Responsible for advising improvements of maintenance strategies and maintenance execution of all field instrumentation, in order to achieve maximum reliability and to optimise costs. Review and analysis of maintenance records in CMMS and make recommendations for improvement & optimization. Develops and recommends asset maintenance strategies for Instrumentation and control equipment. Reviews failures and downtime and provides advice to improve asset maintainability and operability. Reviewing current condition based maintenance (CBM) activities and recommends improvements Review vendor reports and advise on trends, follow-up work and improvements. • Preventative maintenance • Corrective maintenance • Shutdown co-ordination • Life extension • ICP focal point • CLASS related items • Managing UWILD Campaign • Technical queries Applicants please provide their up to date CV and confirm availability.
