Projects Director - UAE - EPCI Contractor

Main Duties : Brevan are currently looking for a Projects Director to work for our client who is a leading EPCI contractor. This is a permanent staff position and it will be based in Dubai with several trips per year to Saudi Arabia. We are specifically looking for candidates who have worked on EPCI projects within the offshore O&G industry. Project Director Minimum 10 year’s project management experience Previous project experience with Saudi Aramco and/or Arabic speaking would be an advantage. Basic Functions Responsible for Management of all phases of large and/or complex projects. Represents contractor in front of the Client Has bottom line responsibility for the financial, technical, and QHSES success of the project. Provide strategic leadership for the project team. Tasks and Responsibilities • Responsible for Management of all phases of large and/or complex offshore and/or onshore projects. • Delivering the Project in accordance with the approved budget and baseline schedule • Ensuring the Project activities adhere to the requirements of the Quality Management System • Ensuring the Project activities adhere to the requirements of the HSE Management System • Responsible for the development, approval and implementation of Project Execution Plan • Ensures that the close out activities are properly performed and documents submitted as required by the contract and contractors close out Procedure... • Oversees the planning and resource allocation of personnel throughout the project. • Ensures that the Main Contract is correctly administered, including agreement to the variations to the scope of work • Ensures that the Subcontracts are correctly administered, including agreement to the variations to the scope of work • Establish & maintain relationships with the Client & Subcontractors • Drives the resolution of issues or conflicts between departments or with the Client • Monitors and manages the project risk profile with the assistance of relevant departments. • Ensure compliance with the contract in all aspects • Prepares and issues reports to the Client in accordance with contract requirements • Liaises with the Client and key subcontractors as required. • Arranges and attends meetings with the Client and subcontractors as required. • Ensures that all written documentation required under the contract is prepared and submitted on time and in accordance with contract requirements. • Ensures that all QA and HSE policies and practices are properly administered and executed. • Ensures that the Contract is properly administered, including agreement of variations to the scope of work. • Oversees the management of change for the Engineering, Fabrication, Construction and Installation scope. • Overseeing contingency planning and lessons learnt for the Engineering, Fabrication, Construction and Installation scope. • Represents contractor in all meetings.
