Main Duties : Brevan are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to work for our client at their location in Egypt. Our client is a leading EPCI contractor with global operations. We need a candidate with at least 15 years oil and gas industry experience and who has been involved with offshore projects and ideally has worked in Egypt before. 15-20 Years significant experience of oil & gas markets in Egypt • Engineering Degree preferred • Arabic Speaker • Nationality: Any; as long as candidate has Egypt and Offshore experience and willing to be based in Egypt. Tasks and Responsibilities: - Early identification of prospects, to enable positioning for pursuit including development of pursuit strategy in conjunction with the respective Country Director of Projects and Business Acquisition Manager - Providing insight to Client hot buttons & drivers and other market considerations (including competitor analysis) to enhance business acquisition activities for prospects - Identification of targeted marketing opportunities relevant to the operations and prospects within the Egyptian market and regionally - The primary responsibility is to facilitate booking new work in accordance with the Enterprises overall objectives - Spearheading clients expansion in Egypt by leading the initiative to establish clients presence in the Egyptian market - Fostering and developing positive customer relationships positioned for business acquisition - Intelligence gathering and framing market situation for new prospects and ongoing projects - Developing a positive profile of client in the Egyptian market - Monitoring competitor activity - Obtaining Customer Survey & Feedback - Intelligence on competitor activities within the Egyptian market - Provide inputs to Senior management based on market information to enable the organization to develop capability in areas to give us strategic leverage for future projects and become a market leader. - Working with the Communications team to develop and maintain Egypt specific Outreach & Marketing programs including identification and attendance of relevant events (EGYPS) for presentation, exhibition, sponsorship and participation. - Provide inputs and feedback to internal Market Analysis and Business Strategy Teams with Report preparation, Contact Reports and sharing information.
