Main Duties : Brevan are currently looking for a Principal Sales & Marketing Specialist to work for our client in Doha. Our client is a leading EPCI contractor and we are ideally looking for candidates with experience working for similar contractors within the oil and gas industry. This is a permanent full time position on a residential basis. Salary to be confirmed, applicants to provide a salary expectation. Housing and local transport to be paid for by the candidate, so this needs to be taken into account when providing a salary expectation. Overview: Candidate must be proven business development professional with knowledge of onshore product lines, established networks and demonstrated ability to lead a pursuit of technology led FEED and EPC projects. Principal Sales & Marketing Specialist will hold responsibility to generate business in the onshore sector in Qatar by identifying new customers and maintaining existing relationships. Responsible for marketing all the products and services to the Oil and Gas Operating Companies in Qatar. This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, negotiating and closing new contracts across the country. Will be expected to utilise existing network of contacts to expand the company’s project portfolio in Qatar Qualifications: •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, MBA is good to have but not compulsory •Must have experience working in the Middle East and be willing to travel internationally and across the region. •Should have a proven track record of success in International sales and business development. •Minimum of 10 years of experience with in the petrochemical and refining industry •Must have exposure to technology based solutions to the EPC oil and gas market Must have experience in selling various downstream technology based solutions to operators •Must have experience dealing with large EPC contractors and operating companies. •Must have the ability to successfully negotiate multimillion dollar contracts. •Strong commercial acumen and negotiating skills •Balance of strong technical and commercial capabilities •Excellent communication, strong selling, negotiation and influencing skills. •High standards of integrity and confidentiality.
